HP Color Laserjet 2605 error code description

10.000x Supply error - E-label cannot be read or print cartridge is
not properly installed.

50.1 Fuser Error - low temperature
50.2 Fuser Error - high temperature
50.3 Fuser Error - slow temperature

51.20/1/2/3 Error - Scanner Error

55.1 Error - Error DC controller error. The device has
experienced an internal hardware error

57 Fan Error - The device has experienced a problem with
its internal fan.

Canon Alarm LED and Blinking light

Canon PIXMA(eg. iP6600D) series and MP(500,600) printer

Service Call Errors (by Cyclic Blinking in Orange (Alarm LED) and Green (Power LED), or Alarm LED Lit in Orange)


Service call errors are indicated by the number of cycles the Alarm and Power LEDs blink, and the corresponding error code is displayed on the LCD.


Cycles of blinking in orange (Alarm LED) and green(Power LED):


2 times Carriage error [5100] An error occurred in the carriage encoder signal.


3 times Line feed error [6000] An error occurred in the line feed signal.




Cycles of blinking in orange (Alarm LED) and green(Power LED):

4 times Purge cam sensor error [5C00] An error occurred in the purge unit.


5 times ASF (cam) sensor error [5700]



6 times Internal temperature error[5400]
The internal temperature is not proper.

Replacement
- Logic board ass'y (QM2-2745)*1


7 times Waste ink absorber full [5B00]


Most of these are serious problems that need a Canon service person to fix but sometimes these
errors pop-up when something simple is happening like paper stuck under the printhead or a small piece
of tape on the printhead contacts.

• The fixing thermistor is faulty.
• The SSR is faulty.
• The DC driver PCB is faulty.

Code E004
• The SSR1 has a short circuit.

Code E005
• The cleaning belt inside the fixing
assembly has been taken up for a
specific length.
• The fixing cleaning belt length
sensor (PS11/PS67) is faulty.
• The DC driver PCB is faulty.
• The CPU PCB is faulty.

Code E006
• The drawer connector of the fixing
unit is faulty.
• The DC driver PCB is faulty.
• The CPU PCB is faulty.

Code E010
• The main motor (M4) is faulty.
• The main motor drive system is
subjected to an overload.
• The main motor driver PCB is
faulty.
• The DC driver PCB is faulty.
• The CPU PCB is faulty.

Code E012
The drum motor (M2) is faulty.
• The drum motor drive system is
subjected to an overload.
• The DC driver PCB is faulty.
• The CPU PCB is faulty.

Code E017
• The duplexing motor (M14) is
faulty.
• The DC driver PCB is faulty.
• The CPU PCB is faulty.

Code E020
Toner Concentration Fault
xx indicates the color of a developing
assembly.
xx=00: MCYBk in common
xx=01: M
xx=02; C
xx=03: Y
xx=04: Bk

• The toner concentration sensor is
faulty.
• The developer inside the
developing assembly is not stirred
properly.
• The sensor is subjected to stray
light (no cover, front cover open).
• The photosensitive drum has
deteriorated.
